My grandson is 8 and a second grader. He seems interested in the concept of a journal with a key but also likes his gaming! So I say the age range and activity are perfect for him and in time he will use it. He does have a girlfriend. That??s locked journal material right there!!

Got this for my kiddo since he’s into Harry Potter at the moment. As the child, he loved it and that it has the lock. He also liked the “invisible ink”. As the adult, I didn’t love it. For the price I expect a little better quality. The lock feels like it will snap off easily. The keys are so thin I’m afraid it’s going to break off in the lock. And the page’s were not glued in right. My husband and I have a bet going as to what falls apart first.
