I??m so glad that I had purchased insurance from Amazon on a smart oven that I had bought. Less than two weeks after the one-year warranty on the product expired, wouldn??t you know how but the product failed. Had I not had this insurance I would??ve been pretty much out of luck. When the manufacture received my item they deemed it unrepairable. This was despite the fact that the only thing that was wrong with it was a slightly broken door mechanism. Anyway, Asurion Cut me a check for the full value of my item and I ordered one again and it will be on its way in two days. Let??s hope it does better the 2nd time around, but if not, then Asurion has got me covered.

How absurd is this Insurance company whose coverage starts the moment you order an item !!! So here I am waiting for my item to be shipped and the clock is already counting down on the length of the coverage policy. And of course they don??t tell you that before you order the coverage. The company boasts that this policy Is so your item is completely covered. Nonsense. The item is already covered by Amazon for delivering it to my house safely and undamaged and the manufacturer is already covering it for the first year anyway so theres no operational coverage needed. Amazon should instruct Asurion to start coverage after it??s delivered like most product insurance coverages do. Policy should begin when it??s delivered which in some cases could take weeks in these Covid-19 times !!!

Customer Questions & Answers

why are the refurbished ones still over $400?
Answer: Refurbished appliances lower price because only the damaged part or parts are replaced

Are there any differences between the Artisan model and the Classic model? If so, what are they?
Answer: The classic is slightly smaller, at 4.5qts instead of 5, and the artisan has a handle on the bowl, which is actually rather nice. The bowl locks into the base, so it is a one handed operation with the handle, two handed without a handle.

Does this come with the standard flat blade, whisk, & cover like the new ones do?
Answer: It have the orginal flat balde, whisk. Yet not cover, and not flex edge beater, my brother once bought a GVODE flex edge beater, which work fine on this 5quart mixer.
